Lay Your Hands on a Business and Make it Profitable Barr. Olatunde

The Coordinator of the Corporate Affairs Commission Osun Zonal Branch, Barr. Omotosho Olatunde has enjoined corps members to become self reliant by starting up businesses of their choice and ensure they make empowerment a priority.

In his lecture at the ongoing 2021 orientation programme at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Wednesday, Barr. Olatunde expressed his deep concerns for the welfare of the corps members, stating that to survive in Nigeria's harsh economic situation they would have to be creative in finding ways to change the narrative. He said that one of the ways to do that is through self empowerment and self reliance.

Furthermore, he moved on to establish the Commission's place in guiding and helping large and small scale business to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the economic development of the nation. He reiterated that corps members would have to register their businesses to be beneficiaries of the services of the Commission.

Also, he explained that no business is too small or too big to be registered, adding that every business has a role to play in economic development.

Moreso, he stated that the corps members stand to gain financial support, uniqueness through sole ownership of their business initiatives, international partnerships, more engagement in import and export services and even much more when they register their businesses with the Commission.

He conclusively encouraged the corps members to explore their choices and make good use of their initiatives and acquired knowledge to start up their business and for profit maximization.
