*COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTHS AND SPORTS VISITS NYSC CAMP, PLEDGES SUPPORT*

The Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Lawal Azeez Olayemi paid an unscheduled visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede on Thursday. 

While addressing the 2021 Batch C Stream I corps members, Hon. Lawal reiterated the Government's commitment to youth development in the State and therefore urged them to settle down in the State. He encouraged those seeking relocation to have a rethink as the State houses a lot of opportunities, tranquil environment with good electricity supply for businesses to thrive with minimal overheads and fertile soil for agriculture. 
He also enjoined the members to believe in themselves and have a positive mindset toward one another and the nation at large. 

He welcomed them to the State on behalf of the Government and people of Osun State informing them that the people of the State are friendly, hospitable and very accommodating. 

He commended the State Coordinator, camp officials and all collaborating agencies for working hard at character molding and training the graduate youths toward nation building and ensuring the one-Nigeria project. 

In addition, he talked about the wonderful culture of the people of Osun State and climaxed his speech by pledging to sponsor the Variety nite and also promised to see how the Cultural Troupe of Osun State can be part of the Cultural Carnival slated for a later date in the Orientation Course. 

In her response, the State Coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka, thanked the Commissioner for gracing the camp with his presence and for pledging his support for the Scheme in the State.
