NO ARENA BEST EXHIBITS THE ESSENCE OF EFFECTIVE TEAMWORK AND PARTICIPATION THAN SPORTS - Shokpeka

The 2021 Batch C Stream 1 corps members have been urged to imbibe the principles of teamwork and sportsmanship as the interplatoon competitions kick off.

The State Coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka made this known while flagging-off in grand style sports activities at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, on Tuesday.
While delivering her opening remarks, she urged the corps members to uphold the mantra of "what’s best for my brother, is best for me" as they work towards same goal of integration and unity through sports.
The event started with a football match between platoon 5 and 7 and volleyball match between platoon 9 and 6. The enthralled match ended 2 goals to 1 in favour of Platoon 5 and 2 - 0 in favour of platoon 9 in football and volleyball respectively.

The Akesin of Ora Ìgbómìnà, Oba Samuel Oladoye Idowu has lauded the NYSC Scheme for the Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers programme which according to him, has impacted many lives and made good healthcare service available to the people in the rural areas. NYSC : Agbor Felicitates with Batch B Stream 2 as 2184 Corps Members Disengage from Service in Osun State

The National Youth Service Corps Osun State Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim has congratulated the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 Corps Members for successfully completing the one year mandatory service to the nation.  He appreciated the Corps Members for being undaunted, humble and unwavering since the beginning of the service year till the joyful moment.  Agbor, who monitored the low key exercise along with the management team, disclosed that a total of 2184 were successfully disengaged and that 19 Corps Members were sanctioned by the Board due to the lackadaisical attitude portrayed during their service year which attracted an extension of service, while 14 members who absconded were billed to repeat the service as prescribed in the Act and Bye-laws of the Scheme.
