SC SHOWS GRATITUDE FOR CORPS MEMBERS' HEALTH, DONATES A TOKEN

The NYSC Osun State Co-ordinator, Mrs. Winifred Shokpeka has expressed gratitude to God for always coming through in the affairs of the Scheme, especially in the safety of corps members and staff. 

She made this known while paying a celebratory visit on Saturday to the home of Kano-bound prospective corps member who 8 involved in a motor accident with several other PCMs in Niger State.

In her speech at the corps members residence, she expressed gratitude to God Almighty for sparing the lives of all those who were involved in the accident.

She promised to render all possible assistance to the corps member, assuring her of Registration once the Orientation Exercise is concluded having been relocated from Niger to Osun State. 

On her part, the victim, Miss Helen Alabi, appreciated the efforts and concerns of the State Co-ordinator and pledged her readiness to selflessly serve the nation in Osun State. 

The corps member's Guardian, Mr. Stephen Popoola, expressed surprise at the level of care shown by the NYSC and prayed for the continued existence of the Scheme and the nation.

In his words, "the scheme has shown with the care displayed that we still have hope in this country".

He requested that the State Coordinator conveys their heart felt gratitude to the Director General for the support received so far.
