*SHOWERS OF ACCOLADES AS NYSC OSUN SENDS FORTH OUTGONE STATE COORDINATOR*

The NYSC Osun State Staff, heads of collaborating agencies and well wishers have showered enconiums on the outgone State Coordinator Mr. Ayodele Adegoke who was recently transferred to the  National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja and the former Assistant Director, Corps Inspection and Monitoring, Mr Fatogun Jimmy, who was  transferred to the North Central Area Office. 
The event, celebrated in a grand style, took place on Thursday at Atlantis Civic Centre Osogbo and was well attended by graced by Principal officers, Heads of Parastatals, Members of Staff, SAED trainers and facilitators. Also in attendance was the retired Director Special Duties, Mr James Afolayan, retired Deputy Directors and a host of dignitaries. 

 The State Coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka, in her address appreciated the members of the Planning Committee for putting together such a grand event within a very short time stating that it is a honour befitting her predecessor. 

Mrs Shokpeka who was represented by the Assistant Director Human Resource Management, Mrs Mary Adebesin, described Mr Adegoke as an intelligent, versatile and humble chief executive who has made the scheme proud at all levels. According to her, the outgone Coordinator is a man who has done so much for the scheme and aimed at lifting the scheme higher. 

The retired Director, Special Duties, Mr James Afolayan in his goodwill address appreciated all dignitaries for their presence as they came to celebrate the amazing Triple A.  “ Adegoke successfully worked with everyone around him in humility, he set great examples to emulate” he said. 

He thanked all the staff for keeping the flag of the Scheme flying, because, according to him, no State Coordinator will succeed without the cooperation of the staff.

Also, the representative of the Commissioner of Police, SP Yemisi Opalola, the Force PRO, described Mr Adegoke as a great man who has succeeded in creating a smooth working synergy between the scheme and her collaborating agencies of which the Force is one. She ended her goodwill address by wishing the celebrants godspeed and greater achievements in life. 

Further enconiums were showered on the duo by Mr Gbadeyan, Mr Olota, both retired deputy directors of the Scheme, also, the Chairman Nigeria Society of Engineers Osogbo Chapter, Engr. Wale Alonge, Principal Officers from the Southwest Area Office and NYSC Osun State Secretariat, SAED trainers and corps members eulogised Mr Adegoke for his landslide achievements in the State. 

Following the Goodwill messages were joy filled activities as all and sundry gathered to celebrate the icon. Ranging from drama presentations, song and poem renditions to recitations.

In his response, Mr Adegoke expressed deep gratitude to God Almighty who saw him through his entire tenure as State Coordinator and also thanked heads of collaborating agencies of the Scheme, all principal officers, head of units, members of staff and Corps members for the support, show of love, encouragements and enthusiasm towards work as he takes his final bow as the State Coordinator. 

“I may be leaving Osun state physically but be rest assured that my heart remains with you all” he added. 

He then admonished them to give their best to the incoming State Coordinator, "the same amount of support and even more that you have given to me, I ask that you give to the new State Coordinator as she takes up the mantle of leadership". 

Meanwhile, the former AD Corps Inspection and Monitoring, Mr. Fatogun Jimmy, in his speech also appreciated the love shown towards him, as he leaves to take on a new post in the North Central Area Office. He described Osun State as the best state to work in stating that the familial spirit in the state makes the achievements of the scheme's objectives very easy. 

The event ended on a merry note as presentation of gifts were made to Mr Ayodele Adegoke and Mr Jimmy Fatogun by members of staff, staff welfare, NYSC Osun State Christian fellowship, Branches and Units, SAED trainers, NACC, NCCF, MCAN, Editorial Group and other individuals and groups.
