*WE ARE HERE TO MOULD YOU FOR A GLORIOUS FUTURE - CAMP DIRECTOR*

The Camp Director for the 2021 Batch C stream II orientation programme, Mrs Mary Adebesin, has intimated the prospective corps members that their stay in the orientation camp is to mould them for a bright future by inculcating discipline and other admirable virtues in them.

She made this known while addressing them at the first morning meditation at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, on Thursday.

"Good virtues and morals will be birthed as you go through the rigours of this three weeks orientation course" she added.

She further enlightened them on the need to be properly dressed at all times while on the camp grounds, wearing their identity cards and  proper kit items, stating that it is a means of proper identification.
In addendum, she enjoined the PCMs to adhere to all COVID-19 precautionary measures, which includes, using the facemask, maintaining social distance and washing of hands at regular intervals.
As she concluded, Mrs Adebesin urged all PCMs to be security conscious and to guard their belongings jealously. "Security is everybody's business, so ensure you don't slack in vigilance".
Highlights of the meditation include, teaching of the NYSC and State anthem by the ACPRO, reading of the meditation on "thankfulness", birthday felicitations and taking of the commitment to be of good behaviour causing no one to go to bed miserably throughout the duration of the course.

The meditation was crowned with a good dose of aerobics to keep course participants physically and mentally fit for the day's activities.
