FIGHT CORRUPTION THROUGH THE INSTRUMENTALITY OF FOIA

The Freedom of Information Act CDS Group of Ede North Local Government Area went out in their numbers to prod the minds of the students of Timi Agbale Grammar School, Ede North on the perils of corruption.

The sensitisation which took place on Thursday was geared towards salvaging the young minds of the students.
“It’s important we nip the cancer of corruption in the bud. This is the right time to reset any wrong mindset you may have towards money and corruption ” said the President of the group.

The students were enlightened on the meaning, significance, procedure, among others.
The team went all out for the school students as they presented a waste basket, two packs of red and blue pen and a park of marker pen to the school principal who received it with joy.

“You have not only blessed us with your presence by enlightening our young children on the importance of the FOIA in fighting corruption, you have also blessed us with gifts. We are indeed grateful and honored to have you here.

"We never know which right act can change a life which would thus go ahead to change a nation. It starts with us, with little acts such as this".
