Abdulwahab Conducts Repairs, Buys Grass Slashers for Camp Use

The State Coordinator NYSC Osun State, Mrs. Abdulwahab Olayinka has purchased two units of Brush Cutter Shaft for camp use during the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede. 
 
She procured the much-needed equipment as one of the prerequisite to ensure Prospective Corps Members’ welfare is satisfied.
 
As part of the NYSC's sworn responsibility to cater for the well-being of Corps Members, she also oversaw the repairs of abandoned faulty giant deep freezers in the kitchen to amplify efficiency in service delivery to Prospective Corps Members.
 
In her service to Corps Members, Mrs. Abdulwahab previously purchased over 500 pieces of plastic chairs during the 2022 Batch B stream 1 camping, she did this to ensure the comfort of PCMs during lectures and to minimise stress of members deployed to the State during orientation programmes.

The Akesin of Ora Ìgbómìnà, Oba Samuel Oladoye Idowu has lauded the NYSC Scheme for the Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers programme which according to him, has impacted many lives and made good healthcare service available to the people in the rural areas. NYSC : Agbor Felicitates with Batch B Stream 2 as 2184 Corps Members Disengage from Service in Osun State

The National Youth Service Corps Osun State Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim has congratulated the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 Corps Members for successfully completing the one year mandatory service to the nation.  He appreciated the Corps Members for being undaunted, humble and unwavering since the beginning of the service year till the joyful moment.  Agbor, who monitored the low key exercise along with the management team, disclosed that a total of 2184 were successfully disengaged and that 19 Corps Members were sanctioned by the Board due to the lackadaisical attitude portrayed during their service year which attracted an extension of service, while 14 members who absconded were billed to repeat the service as prescribed in the Act and Bye-laws of the Scheme.
