Abdulwahab Briefs PCMs, Advises Them Against Misconduct

The State Coordinator NYSC Osun State, Mrs. Olayinka Abdulwahab has enlightened Prospective Corps Members on acceptable behaviour in the course of their 21-day camping.
She told PCMs that it is not acceptable to bring accessories that will inconvenience activities to the Parade Ground, Abdulwahab stated this during the routine morning meditation on Saturday at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.

Abdulwahab advised them that accessories like water bottles should be left in their hostels, and not be brought to the parade ground as they most likely will not be needing them that early in the morning.

She enjoined PCMs to adhere to basic Camp rules that will facilitate their stay in Camp and make it a memorable one for them.

Also, the Camp Director Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu enjoined the PCMs to make the most of their stay in Camp, interact with one another, as it is one of the many reasons the Scheme was initiated.

The Head of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, Mr. Adeniyi Aleshinloye also sensitised the PCMs on the programme, saying that the incentives are far-reaching. He told them that it will upskill them and make them employers of labour.

In a bid to familiarise PCMs with the nuances of the Scheme, Assistant Chief Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Catherine Otemuyiwa intimated them once again with the NYSC anthem, the National prayer and the Omoluabi anthem.

The morning meditation came to a close with birthday felicitation and doses of physical exercises by the Man O' War, with other Camp officials participating in it.
