Joy flows as Corps Member Gives Birth During Orientation in Ede Camp

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim paid a congratulatory visit to Corps Member Mufliat Moshood with state code number 0S/23B/3417 who went into labour during registration at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede and was referred to the Osogbo Central Hospital where she was delivered of her baby, today.

The State Coordinator was accompanied by the Resident Officer 1, Mrs Esther Attah; the Head of Sports, Mrs Mary Adebesin ; the Head of Publicity and Protocol, Mrs Funmi Okundaye; the Head of Clinic, Mr Abiodun Abiona, and the NHIA Officer on Camp, Mrs Agboola Oluwabunmi ọn the congratulatory visit. 

Agbor congratulated Mufliat on the successful birth of her baby and wished her and the new born well.

Responding, her husband, Mr Ibrahim Masud appreciated the management team for their show of love and support to youths who are willing to serve their country. He further expressed gratitude for the love shown to his family by the NYSC body. 

The State Coordinator went on to appreciate the Managing Director of the Osogbo Central Hospital, Dr. Akin Ajayi for his effort in taking care of the Corps Members enrolled under the NHIA Scheme.

In response, the MD, Dr Ajayi promised to further prioritize the Health of the Corps Members.

NYSC : Agbor Felicitates with Batch B Stream 2 as 2184 Corps Members Disengage from Service in Osun State

The National Youth Service Corps Osun State Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim has congratulated the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 Corps Members for successfully completing the one year mandatory service to the nation.  He appreciated the Corps Members for being undaunted, humble and unwavering since the beginning of the service year till the joyful moment.  Agbor, who monitored the low key exercise along with the management team, disclosed that a total of 2184 were successfully disengaged and that 19 Corps Members were sanctioned by the Board due to the lackadaisical attitude portrayed during their service year which attracted an extension of service, while 14 members who absconded were billed to repeat the service as prescribed in the Act and Bye-laws of the Scheme.
