Officials at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp in Ede, led by the State Coordinator, Mr. Agbor Ndoma, gathered at the multipurpose hall today in anticipation of the registration of Batch C Stream 1 Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) scheduled to commence on November 1, 2023. In his opening speech, Agbor emphasized the uniqueness of each camp and stressed the importance of teamwork as camp activities kick off. He highlighted the significance of cooperation among all camp officials to ensure a successful camp experience for both Corps Members and officers. The 2022 Batch C1 Corps Members deployed to Osun State marked the culmination of their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) journey today, October 12th, with a low-key passing out ceremony that echoed across the 30 local government areas of the State and 1 Area Office.  The day commenced with eager anticipation as Corps Members assembled at each Local Government Area (LGA) secretariat to collect their hard-earned NYSC certificates. This crucial certificate collection process was meticulously overseen by Local Government inspectors and a dedicated team of NYSC officials who ensured the smooth distribution of certificates. The Director Corps Welfare and Health Services Department, NYSC NDHQ, Mr Omotade Ayodele Benjamin has inspired the 2023 Batch B Stream 2 Corps Members to acquire skills and Excel in them.  The entry of Mr. Omotade Ayodele to the Multipurpose Hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Tuesday, was heralded by lively performances from the Band and a cultural dance by one of the platoons on Camp, accompanied by heartfelt tributes highlighting his hometown connections. Omotade, addressing the NYSC Members, expressed gratitude for the shared identity among Corps Members across different NYSC Camps, emphasizing unity and a common purpose. Joy flows as Corps Member Gives Birth During Orientation in Ede Camp

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim paid a congratulatory visit to Corps Member Mufliat Moshood with state code number 0S/23B/3417 who went into labour during registration at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede and was referred to the Osogbo Central Hospital where she was delivered of her baby, today. The State Coordinator was accompanied by the Resident Officer 1, Mrs Esther Attah; the Head of Sports, Mrs Mary Adebesin ; the Head of Publicity and Protocol, Mrs Funmi Okundaye; the Head of Clinic, Mr Abiodun Abiona, and the NHIA Officer on Camp, Mrs Agboola Oluwabunmi ọn the congratulatory visit.  Agbor congratulated Mufliat on the successful birth of her baby and wished her and the new born well. Governor Adeleke Charges Over 2700 Corps Members Sworn-in in Osun State to Stay True to Oath

His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has charged the over 2700 Corps Members sworn-in in Osun State comprising 1808 Corps Members deployed to the State and 900 dislodged from Lagos State, to stay true to the National Pledge and the NYSC Oath of Allegiance which they had sworn to before the Chief Judge of the State.  Adeleke gave the charge at the Swearing-in and Official Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede on Friday.
